Wow... goodness... I have sooo much work to do this weekend. I'm off to a camping trip though. Yes, I'm going on a Catholic Retreat Campout for the weekend. This will be my third year to go to this. I particularly like it though... I love learning more about my own religion and enhancing my spirituality. I always figured that if I don't become a diplomat, I would be a priest. I've had to defend my religion quite a few times lately... well actually, my denomination. I don't understand it... everybody seems to be anti-Catholic these days. Hmmm... speaking of which... am I justified in defending other religions? A few months back, a friend of mine started speaking his mind against Hinduism. I didn't know what to say... I knew however, that he didn't know what he was talking about. I don't think the Bhagavad Gita criticizes Christian values.
Oh my goodness, just a few days back, when the anti-Islam propaganda were re-manifesting, I was appalled by the intolerance that some people have! From what I heard however, they all seem to have misconceptions. I've spent some time reading the Qur'an and I find truth in It. If I weren't a Christian, i would have been a Muslim and that's not just because the Philippines is half Muslim, half Christian eithre. Hmmm...
What if I were a Jew? I have distant relatives who are Jews. They're very interesting... especially around Yom Kippur time. They don't eat and drink, and they spend the day in contemplative prayer. Well, it's not that different from other practices in that sense. Hmmm...I want to go to a Jewish wedding... It looks fun to me...
Well it doesn't matter what I was, am or will be... we all pray to the same God... contrary to what a certain young man seems to think.
Oh goodness... I am soooooooooooo off topic... I'm supposed to be talking about my camping trip and all the work I have to do this weekend but I'm out of time though... I'll write something when i get back on Sunday. Oh well, alright then... Shalom. Salam. Peace. A tout!

I can't believe I missed the whole Route 66 Parade & Picnic this year!?! How terrible! I've been going to those ever since I was a small boy... well, I still am a small boy, but yeah... a younger boy is what I mean. Anyway, yeah, I was at a Native-American Pow Wow today... hehehaha... don't ask. It was really very interesting though. I learned how to dance around a giant drum and chant. I thought it was pretty fun.
Hmmm... did you know that USC classifies Indian-Americans in the same category as Indians from India? They're from two different sides of the world! I found that kindof odd. Anyway, I really don't know what to write, when i think of something, I'll write something.

Oh!!! Happy Autumn Equinox today!!! It's the first day of the Fall season and the longest evening/night on the calendar! Yess!!!
