Wake up and smell the pot and B.O. in the air! It's Whole Earth Fest on campus... you know, hippy fest? pretty crazy stuff!
So among some cool things is this booth that sells happy fish!!! they're sooooo happy! u just can't help but smile. =D There's also this dude who makes little ceramic things that say peace on them in different languages... paix, salaam, shalom, kapayapaan... yess.

So tonight I also went to Pilipino Culture Night... it was awesommeeeeee! Izzy, Joni, & Corn were awesommeee dancers too... I had a good times... hehe.. I might be intrested in doing a dance or something next year... I've never danced filipino dance before... i never got the chance to do it until now... so its something worth trying... connect me with my heritage.
It's easy for me to connect with my pilipino roots but hard to connect with other fellow pinoys these days... especially young uns like meself. Sooo many young Pilipino-Americans have been sooo influenced by hip-hop culture that I'm part of the minority that hasn't. I hadn't really grown up around hip hop culture... even in SoCal. And as a kid, i didn't have that many filipino friends cuz most of the fLipZ i knew were into urban music. I mean, I have nothing agaisnt it, I think it's pretty awesome.. but its just not me. So yeah, sometimes i ger a little uncomfotable when some people think of all Pilipino-Americans as Flip-hoppers... cuz a small few of us aren't that into it... just a small few.. but still.
But anyway, enough about that... PCN was awesomeeeee.. i can't wait till next year's.

hrmm... somehow hugs do make things better... there was a lot of talking and stuff but in the end, i think the hug finally settled it... sigh* ...now that's what i call relief... in the buff... say whaaa? hahaha
