"Welcome to UC Davis, I am your tour guide for today!" says Benjamin.
Yess! Today was sooo awesomeeee. My first tours ever and I am loooovin it! At first I was all nervous and self-conscious and I was ready to ask somebody to substitute for me... but since that wouldn't have made a very good impression on my bosses, I just decided to take my friend Melvin's name tag and gave the tour pretending to be him so if the visitors had any complaints about it... mwehehehehe. But once I got through with introductions, the words just flowed from my mouth and I said everything I wanted to say and had oodles of fun! I am soo gonna give tours up the wazoo! And today, meeting all the other tour guides was cool too. Aubree and I thought that the other campus ambassadors were "overly happy peppy people"... but with a job like theirs, who can't be!? le sigh*
Oooh, and man-o-man... what a surprise... I was sitting at the registration tables when this really familiar-looking girl approaches me and I totally had to think about it for a while but she was like, "hey ben?" I was like, "huh..?" And she was like, "Do you remember me?" and I was like, "huh?" and she was like, "it's Jennifer," and i was like "huh?"... then I was like, "whoaaa!" Jennifer is a senior from my high school and she's totally going to attend UCD next year!!! omg, soo awesomeee... that means she is the third Falcon-Aggie in a looong time. And knowing that some ppl back home still remember me and Lisa is really cool. sigh*
So I went to French class today too.. my ONE-&-ONLY Thursday class and it seems really promising! Madame Praeger isn't quite a Mme. Clay but she's still an intresting one anyway. French professors are funny-wunny ppl. She has this really deep voice and it was soo funny cuz she was talking about nuclear war and in English, her voice gets deeper for some reason and she was like, "all zee countriez uff zee world competed to show off zaire NEUCLEEAERRR POWERRRR" and she said it with such a deep voice that it was scary and funny at the same time.. haha.. I'm a dork.. the only one in class laughing.
Today, I went to Newman and took a really icky nap... cuz I dunno.. napping on musty Newman couches when it's hot out and you're sweating is pretty-darn sick... but I did it & survived! Afterwards I went to AppleBees for retreat planning with Alison, Catherine, & Rowena. That was one of the most unproductive meetings ever... soo much fun. ;)

what a good day. sigh* now I am tired, I need a drink, a massage, and sleep... so I can get ready for tomorrow's tours! :) ciao!
