Well it's official. 3339 Tannencrest Dr. is officially under new management. It feels really weird walking by without being attacked by cats, or seeing the garage door open, inviting me to take advantage of its contents. And honestly! Who moves from a street named Tannencrest to a place called Chip Shot!? And even more perplexing, from Duarte to Morehead!? Sonja's fellatioville. Well! This is one sad Robin.
It appears that securing a job is now out of the question for me. How else shall I spend my time? I think I ought to take up a new hobby. Collecting perhaps. Collecting dust. Collecting memories. Collecting and collaborating. Stamps are overdone. Bottles can get messy. Boogers are disgusting. Christmas Cards take up too much room. Busts are too expensive. Odd coins are not often to be found. You know what would be an interesting collection? PEOPLE. There are soo many different types of people... and they could never be all collected so it'd never end.
So yes, that was me rambling on. I'm a bit bored, can't you tell? I've just spent 3 hours playing "Animal Crossing" for Nintendo GameCube. Hmm... perhaps I'll call Bishop & see what he's up to this fine Friday.
ring* ring*

California here we come, right back where we started from... Caaaliforniaaaaaaa!
So I just came back from drivin' around Bel-Air & Beverly Hills. It was Sonya, Lisa, Justin, & I cruisin' down Sunset Blvd. Damn those houses are awesome. We saw the mansion from the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"... and I'm pretty sure it was the first one that Justin pointed out, out of the other 7 Fresh Prince mansions he pointed out. We saw Ozzy Osbourne's mansion too. Oh yeah, and while we were crusin' the Sunset strip, we saw Kelly Osbourne! She was hangin out with her friends in front of some restauraunt place. That was pretty coo. It's weird seeing a celebrity... like they're just normal people but they're famous normal ppl. I dunno.
"Goodness Sonya, you won't see any of this in North Carolina! Unless Morehead becomes the next Hollywood, or New York." So Sonya supposedly leaves tomorrow, but hopefully for us, it gets postponed to Wednesday.
I've added a new goal to my list... I must visit the big white Hollywood sign. I don't know how to get there though. If anybody knows how I can get there from Duarte, leave me a message and it would be oodly appreciated!
Welp, I'm gonna watch some late night TCM or FoodTV now, and maybe try to fall asleep because I have been quite the insomniac lately. Stress and all that. And I thought Summer was supposed to be relaxing! Anyway my peepz, smell ya lata!

Dear Sonya,
I remember the first time I really started talking to you was back in Junior year of high school. Do you remember that one day? We were ditching our AP Bio zero period. You were wearing your huuuge blue swim coat and we were hiding behind the construction fence for the new library. haha, I think she saw us though. Yeah, that's when I realized for the first time that we could have something going. Even though we all got F's and yelled at for the day, I don't regret it. It happened for a wonderful reason.
But only Heaven knows what spark brought us together for sure. All I know is that you've played such an important role in my life and how I have been living it. I would've lost a lot without you. I'm definitely gonna to miss you soooooooooooo much. I don't want you to leave but I know that you are needed elsewhere too. After all, I can't keep you forever. That would be kidnapping. Now I don't wanna get mushy gushy or anything because goodbyes are certainly not easy but i just wanna say I love you. You've been more than a friend, really more than a sister. For me, you've been more than a confidante. Even without trying, you'd somehow be able to make me feel better about stuff. We've cried, we've laughed, we've snickered, we've nostaligicized and quaintified, we've idealized and objectified, we've had a lot of fun together. So now tomorrow is my last day of physically being with you for what seems like a very long time. Goodness, I shall see you tomorrow!

There's nothing quite like a good morning Sunday Mass followed by some fruit picking; juicy white peaches and kalamansi. Now we're off to a picnic for lunch. Indeed there's nothing like it.
Stations of the Cross.. that's what the Newman Center needs... the 14 stations... but I don't know, what with the whole debt thing and all. I'm sure God will provide.
Mmm, these peaches are delicious... delectably sweet and moist with nectar. And this kalamansi (little Filipino lemons, for those who don't know) is irresistably sour. Yummy.

Aww now I remember what I miss about my friends here in good ol' Duarte. It's really weird... like at the party last night, Lisa and I were like, whoaa... it's high school all over except we have other lives too. But ppl really haven't changed all that much.. they're still the good ol' ppl I remember from the good ol' past.
3 more days until sadness. The party last night was Sonya's bon voyage party. It went rather well. I just wish the party were for somebody else. Hmmm.. no further comment.

So I probably won't be blogging very many interesting or relevant posts over the summer just because I've forgotten how to blog. But just bear with me.

For those of you asking what Los Angeles' full name means, it means: The Village of our Lady, the Queen of the Angels of the Porciuncula River (El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de los Angeles de Porciuncula).
And another fun fact about L.A.- If the five-county Los Angeles area were a state, it would be the fourth largest in the United States!
