Lisa, Sonya, Justin, and I went to the cinemas and saw the new Lara Croft movie... it was rather good but I think the first one was better. After the show, we took a delightful two-hour promenade through the Gold Hills district of Monrovia. Gorgeous houses! And mind I say some were... ahem, cute? hehe We had a small discussion about guys saying "cute". I don't think it's so bad. Well, what else are we supposed to say? "darling"? Ooh, look at that house, isn't it just darling? Ilck. Guys can find things cute too, ya know... a cute chick, a cute rifle, a cute football. Yep. Damn right! In addition to the cute bunnie, the cute teddy, and the cute parasol.~ lundi, juillet 28, 2003 ~ What a lovely surprise for a summer l'après-midi- rain! And the whole package that comes with it... thunder & lightning, oh yeah ;). Absolutely my kind of weather, I tell ya that. I had a short conversation with Ingrid this morning. She seems to be enjoying herself in Costa Rica where awakening from the sound of tropical morning rain provides a daily dose of delight. I would love to visit tropique Rica one day but I don't think I would do too well in humid weather. In the Philippines, the humidity is difficult to bear in that a few minutes outside is a sweat-drenching, sticky-skin experience. Anyway, Ingrid wishes to say hello to all her friends back in California. She says she misses you and she'll be back soon (Oooh, I hope she brings some Costa Rican coffee beans with her).
