If any of you are ever hungry in Davis, I highly recommend the sandwiches at Zia's Delicatessen. Absolutely delicious. I had the "Viareggio specialty sandwich" for less than $5, and let me tell you something, the pesto mayo is incredibly tantilizing. Oh, to die for! And the restauraunt, it's a quaint little place downtown with a very Italianate atmosphere. I don't think that anybody who goes to Zia's can be disappointed.
I have only 6 meal swipes to last me from now until the 17th so I figure I'll be patronizing the local establishments. So for the next few days, just call me Mr. Restauraunt Critic.

My absolute favourite part of the dog show is when the owners run with their dogs on the arena grounds to show off their dogs stride. I often wonder, what if the owner were to trip and fall on the dog? Would the judges mark down points? It's also my favourite part because I think that the owners run funnily. These are laidies in skirts and gentlemen in suits performing a most awkward sight. You just gotta love the dog shows.
Six more days until the end of the quarter. Boy, time sure does fly. I can remember it like just last week when I spent my first day in the dorms. Back then, I would have never guessed all the things that have happened. The craziness, the sadness, the laughs, the frustrations, the fun-ness, the annoyances, the reliefs, the loverlyness, the experiences. All part of first year dorm life. Now I'm leaving in less than a week (on Thursday) for back home. The thing is that over the course of the year, Hammarskjold House became my home. It's going to take quite a bit of re-adjusting to re-make my home back home, home.
Feed me! Me so hungrie. I only have 6 meal swipes left! Welp, I better go to sleep now so I can hopefully wake up for the farmer's market tomorrow morning. I'd like to pick up some fresh apricots, sweet raspberries, & juicy blackberries or what not...
Until then, it's a dog eat dog world so enjoy the dog show everyone!
